Left fielder Chris Coghlan might not return to the lineup until Wednesday after leaving Saturday's game with a lower back strain. Coghlan said he hurt his back when swinging during a strike out in the fifth inning. Coghlan, in an 0-for-16 slump, said before the game that his back was tight.Manager Edwin Rodriguez won't rush Coghlan back into the lineup and said he could be out three to four days. If the discomfort lingers, there's a chance Coghlan will go on the disabled list, Rodriguez said.Emilio Bonifacio will take over for Coghlan, the 2009 NL Rookie of the Year. Bonifacio went 1-for-4 with a double Sunday and scored the game's only run.Coghlan has three hits in his last 36 at-bats.

Gaby Sanchez succeeded where everyone else failed -- with a runner in scoring position. Sanchez doubled home the only run and Alex Sanabia pitched into the sixth inning to earn his first major league win Sunday, helping the Florida Marlins shut out Washington for the second game in a row, 1-0. Aside from Sanchez, the two teams went 0 for 18 with runners in scoring position.

Florida Marlins left fielder Chris Coghlan is expected to miss at least three starts with a strained lower left back, and manager Edwin Rodriguez said a stint on the disabled list is possible. Coghlan was held out of the lineup Sunday against Washington. He was removed from Saturday's game after he aggravated the injury batting in the fifth inning, when he struck out.

Bees caused the latest buzz at the Florida Marlins' ballpark. An area near the visitors' bullpen became infested, with one entire section of seats and part of another roped off for Saturday night's game against Washington. Nationals reliever Drew Storen said a security guard told him there was a hive of bees.
